Re: Has anyone had surgery with Dr Sinervo?

Good luck. I hope it goes well. You are in excellent hands.

Have you spoken with Heather? Did she tell you how the process works? Like coming in then staying over night, then preopping, then surgery, then recovering, then going home when you feel up to it? If you have a bowel resection, you can't leave the hospital, they will want to keep you at least a couple days. If you feel good enough when you get out, you can probably make the drive, but check with Dr. Sinervo as he may recommend against it. Did you get a CEC rate at your hotel? All of that stuff is on the website but you should call Heather with any questions.

I'm not trying to conceive, but several have after excision from what I hear from others. There is a CEC site on Myspace run by a patient who talks about her experience, and that has some other patients there as well, and also there are a lot of CEC patients at the ERC discussion board. It used to be on Yahoo groups but it moved, sorry I'm not sure where to.

Anyway, you are going to be in great hands, and I hope it goes really well for you. You will love them, they are all great there. Is Dr. Fisher on your case too? She was very nice and seems skilled from the short interaction I remember with her.

Good luck!
