Hi! Well I have to say I feel relieved that I am not the only younger girl that feels this way. I started getting hot flashes when I was about 16. They weren't too bad, just at random times..it was pretty strange. I always made a joke about it but now it is really starting to bother me and affect my life. I am 20 now and I probably get a couple hot flashes a day. I start to feel this extreme heat come over my body, then my face turns bright red and before I know it I am sweating all over. I feel so gross I could just jump in the shower. Then sometimes I get pretty cold after. So I started researching about it because I can't deal with it anymore. Iv'e found so many reasons that it could be from., but I havn't made it to the doctors to be tested for anything yet. But, I feel like most of the time it is caused from nervousness/stress and anxiety. For example, I get them when I am uncomfortable around people, when I am by myself if a populated area. My heart beat speeds up so fast and I feel like I'm having an anxiety attack. But then, I get them after I eat, or have a glass of wine. So I know it can't all be from stress. So I just wanted to let you know that I feel your pain and if you ever find out a techinque or somthing to help please let me know!! thank you and good luck!
