Re: Help..any advice please from a worried husbandFrom: ada (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jul 31 15:55:10 2008
Hello, I had a partial hysterectomy last sept (kept both ovaries) However, I was not only dealing with endo, but also adenomyosis and pelvic congestion (vericose veins in my unterus). So the removal of my uterus was taking away 2 out of 3 of my problems. In the last 2 months I have felt the endo pain creeping back into my life. However, the surgery was great for me due to the other problems I had (so my pain is is not as severe or as constant as before). A hysterectomy is not a cure for endo, but it helped people i know with endo. A great place for you to visit to discuss with other women their hysterectomies is hystersisters.com. They have an endo board as well as a pre and post hysterectomy board. Good luck! Ada At Thu, 31 Jul 2008, anonymous wrote: > >I would not rely on the skills of an RE to help me with endo.
