Ugh, my OB wouldn't give me Percocet. The strongest thing I've been given for pain is Darvocet and like you said, you can't work when you're on that or drive! I'm lucky to be on an Intermittent Leave, but I don't get paid for the days I'm not here and with all the copays its so hard to survive. I think it's BS I had to go to a gastro doc too. I feel like it was my OB's way of saying "Quit complaining" and pushing me off on someone else. I'm relieved and sad that other people feel the way I do. It makes me feel better to know I'm not alone, but it sucks knowing that other people have the same horrible things to deal with.
