Re: Post-lap periods

My excision surgeon states in his post-op directions that the first 2-3 periods after laparoscopy can be very heavy and painful. Lupron and BCP's don't really do anything to the endo except temporarily cover the symptoms. To really get rid of the endo, excision surgery is the best way. If you give an idea of where you live, others on this forum can make recommendations about Endo Specialists in your part of the country. There are only a few that a well-trusted, but it's worth the extra trouble to get to one so that you can have the best chance for a normal life. These endo specialists don't use Lupron or BCP's, instead they treat endo implants like cancer and totally remove them no matter where or how tiny they are. Best wishes and good luck!
