Try giving up sugar, gluten, wheat

>I have the same symptoms - bloating for four years or more. Don't be afraid of colonoscopy - it is no big deal, very pleasant anesthesia. The only drag is the laxatives beforehand and being hungry and weak for a few hours. But the procedure is no problem usually. Just had one last week. Today it was decided I would have a hysterectomy to get rid of big fibroids and check for endo. I also tried gluten free for several months, and some IBS symptoms got better, but the bloating and tightness didn't.
