Hi Cassie,

Ugh. I'm sorry that your endo was so bad. I also suffered through a bowel resection and have severe endo. I feel your pain!

I guess you really need to decide what is more important: getting married, being financially secure, or having a child. I can tell you that my priorities were marriage, house, kids. We were able to do the first two, but are still waiting on the kids. It's been two years now. I did have excision surgery in Dec. and we have not had any luck yet. My doc said fertility rates are increased up to a year post-op. We are now onto fertility treatments.

There was a right time for us to start trying for kids. It was after we were married. Not everyone feels the same way. You have to decide for yourself if you want to have children before marriage based on your moral and religious beliefs. What does your partner think about all this?

I wish you the best of luck whatever you decide!
