Re: Looking For A Good GYN Endo Dr. For My Teen In WA

I understand your situation and feel fortunate that I was able to afford
this surgery. I would say that knowledge is power. There is plenty of
information on the web about endo and teens--in fact there is a web site
completely devoted to supporting teens with endo (can't remember the web
site's name--just had surgery--can anyone help me here?). If you can't
see a specialist, arm yourself with knowledge and research studies. That
way, when a doctor tells you teens don't get endo, you can hand them the
numbers that show that they do. There may be other doctors who do
excision surgery in the Pacific Northwest, I'm just not sure who they
are, or how well-trained they are. I know when it comes to our
daughters, it just tears out hearts out to see them hurting. Best
wishes!
