I have just had excision surgery for endo with a specialist who KNOWS
that teens get endo. In fact, he is fairly certain that we are born
with it. You didn't say if you were in Northern or Southern Washington
State, but I'm in Portland, Oregon, and if my daughter were having the
kind of problems you are describing I would run, not walk, to see Dr.
Redwine in Bend. He is one of the foremost experts in the world on
endo. His staff is wonderful and very supportive. You will be amazed
at the difference in how you and your daughter are treated. Many of his
patients only need 1 laparoscopy to be completely rid of the
endometriosis. He isn't cheap and doesn't accept insurance (although my
insurance covered part of his fee) but has way to work with you for the
