hi, im a 20 year old 3rd year student... i was diagnosed with endo last year. i had excruciating period pain for a year beforehand, which i used to jokingly call "my ovary pain". my gp dismissed it as muscular pain. 3days before my wedding last year, out of the blue i had an immense amount of pain, i couldn't even walk upright. i saw my doctor the next day who decided i had a spastic colon, and sent me for an ultrasound "in case it was a cyst". well i had an 8cm cyst on my left ovary half of which had burst. i had emergency surgery that afternoon, during the surgery the gynae realised it was endo. i made it to my wedding hehe.. very painfully :) i then took a six month course of zoladex. at the end of the six months i visited another gynae for a second opinion as he is an endo speciliast and has teated my mums endo. he discovered that the previous doc only drained the cyst and didnt remove it and my endo progressed to stage 4. so i had my second laproscopy and hysteroscopy. i then took another dose of zoladex. and now here i am. confused! my doc advises that i have a baby otherwise i may not have a chance of having kids at all! im so scared.. i want kids.. but not ryt now!! i have a year left of my degree to finish.. any ideas? i wanted to know more info about depo? what good/bad does it do? we'v accepted that having a baby now may be a reality and we're excited.. but im really scared... im only 20! i dunno if im ready for motherhood. and also.. how long does zoladex take to expire from your body? my last 3 month dose should have expired 2 months ago! but still no period.. plz help
