My Response: I said the same thing you did years ago....Just take it all out!!!....And I did. I have had a vaginal hysterectomy with no ovaries or any female organs remaining. I have also had a bowel resection, multiple laparoscopies and laparotomies, etc. and am still in daily pain. Just know that a hysterectomy doesn't guarantee that you will have no more endometriosis or pelvic pain. Please make sure you look at all options before having a hyserectomy and make sure your surgeon knows that a hysterectomy doesn't necessarily mean no more pain.
