What kind of lap / surgery did you have?
I am not at ALL surprised that your RE is so clueless. I have gone to a
few, and I really wonder what they do beyond playing with their
fertility chemistry sets. They care not a whit about helping a woman
get pregnant naturally or just the human way. They are Dr Frankensteins
IMO.
Yes, I had thyroid problems and it took me YEARS to get help. I found
an alternative family doctor, who knows a thing or two about free tsh.
Have you read the info by Mary Shomon? Have you seen her site - well,
one of them, she has many
Getting help with my thyroid did not help me with endo, but it did help
me with energy.

Thyroid might help you with fertility, but how is your blood sugar also?
I did go to one good RE - I wasn't looking to get pregnant then or now,
but she recognized I might have PCOS. I talked to other women in her
office, and they had been helped with their fertility by working on
PCOS.
Doctors! argh!!!!!
These doctors are more into helping women postpone or achieve pregnancy,
this might help if you want to look into one of them

you might also look into a naturopath, google ''find a naturopath''
