Amy, As Summer indicated, most of my symptoms went away during pregnancy (I had developed intolerances to wheat and dairy and, unfortunately, those didn't go away). I nursed for over 2 years and my symptoms mostly stayed at bay until I began menstruating again when my son was just over one year old.

I had the lap in June and got pregnant in October and miscarried early in the pregnancy (6 weeks). I didn't get pregnant again until May (almost a year after the surgery). Curiously, I began to miscarry again early in that pregnancy and a wonderful nurse had the forethought to immediately give me a prescription for progesterone (although test results hadn't yet confirmed that I needed any). The bleeding stopped very soon after taking the progesterone and I carried my son to full term! The really interesting thing is that a couple days after starting the progesterone, I got the test results back and we realized that, according to the test, I hadn't been low in progesterone... Needless to say, I can't help imagining that Tommy wouldn't be here right now if that nurse hadn't given me the progesterone.

Anyhow, I'll be hoping for the best for you and please don't hesitate to send me an email if you have any questions for me. I'm sure we both realize that everyone's experience is different, but I've sure found it helpful to have folks around to share questions and concerns with. Cal
