Re: HELP I'm 28 and need a hysterectomy

I would definitely get a second opinion. To remove everything seems irrational and archaic in the medical field today. Plus, even if they choose to do a hysterectomy, they can do them laparoscopically and don't need to give you big scars. Read about excision and how removing the lesions can really give you relief, not removing your organs. Many women in here have had cotinued pain and endometriosis growth after removing their organs and have regretted going through surgery. It may be an immune response or a lymphatic spread. There are so many theories for endo. Don't just trust one doctor as knowing what is the best thing to do for your case. You need to seek another opinion before such a drastic decision at such a young age. (Just my opinion.) You gotta do what you want to do, but this just doesn't sound right. Type in "continued pain after hysterectomy" as a search and read up!
