Endo pain all month long.From: ANON (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri May 23 14:45:31 2008
Hi ladies! I was diagnosed officially with endometriosis a little over one year ago via laproscopy. My doctor told me that it was only mild and that I would be fine, just not to wait until I'm 30 to have kids (I'm currently 19). I took myself off of birth control for about a year (over the course of that year I had a miscarriage at about four weeks) and then my periods stopped. I went back to my gynee who thinks I have polycystic ovaries. So he put me on birth control again. I had been on it previously for about three years, so now I'm on it again. The birth control helped a little bit with cramping before, and it started to help for the first few months that I took it this time around. But now, the cramps have returned. And I guess my question is, am I alone? I have cramps all month long even with the birth control pill. Some days are better than most, and other days I'm curled up on my couch. During my period it's about 100 times worse. I'm trying to stay away from NSAIDs becuase I have acid reflux and those make my stomach hurt. And who wants to walk around being stoned on narcotics all of the time? Is there anyone else out there in the same boat as me? It stinks =(
