Re: Endometriosis in groin regionFrom: Nikki (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Apr 30 22:27:57 2008
Hi Colleen, Yeah, check out all the info you can on the different drugs available. Maybe you'll find something you like and you can talk it over with your doctor. I've done some major researching on the web, and these were some of the websites I liked. I even emailed them and asked them specifically if they knew anything about diaphragmic endometriosis. They were nice enough to point me in the right direction. Maybe they'd help you with your research. http://www.endometriosisfoundation.org/ http://www.endometriosisassn.org/contact.html http://www.endometriosis.org/organisation.html <--- this one's email was hard to find so I'll just give it to you: info "at" endometriosis.org Endo outside the uterus is very weird, I mean before I had no idea it could grow all the way up into the chest, and down into the groin area. I've suffered from right shoulder pain since my teens, and now I find out its not from playing sports but from endo lesions on my diaphragm -- weird! My doctor actually thinks that there are more endo lesions hiding on my diaghragm behind the liver and this could be why I'm having more trouble than usual... geez, endo sure gets around lol Well, goodluck with your research! Google "endometriosis organizations" and bug all of them. They're used to it. They like to share their research. Take care.
-- Nikki
