Re: Colonoscopy to check for endo?

Mickey,

I think I was out of work for 3 weeks. The biggest thing was that I was in the hospital for 4 days. They have to make sure that everything is "flowing" correctly before you go home. After I went home, I felt the recovery period was very similar to the other laps I've had. My bowel symptoms are 100% better, but my surgery was pretty recent (Dec.).

My endo was pretty much found everywhere: ovaries, cul de sac, bowel. I also had a hydrosalpinx that was removed.

How experienced is your doc with removing endo? There's a lot of people that advise that you only do endo surgeries with specialists. I wish my first surgery would have been done by a specialist, but I didn't know enough until after my official diagnosis. Whatever the case, I wish you the best of luck and let me know if you have any more questions!
