Your reply was very helpful. i also have bowel symptoms, only during my period. I am having a colonoscopy this week, and then a laprascopy will follow sometime soon. My OB wants to make sure nothing else is causing my bowel symptoms before the lap. She said if the colonoscopy comes back not-so-good, she will have a special surgeon on hand for my lap in case more needs to be done. How long was your recovery period after your bowel resection?
