Hi Ladies! I am 26 years old and I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis. I had my first lap a little over a month ago along with the removal of a uterine fibroid. Next week I am scheduled for my first shot of Lupron. I have done all the research I can do and I feel like I have an amazing doctor but I am still nervous about the effects the hormones will have on me. I suffer from Bipolar Disorder. I am incredibly stable, I have a fantastic medical team at UCLA that monitor me and my medications weekly, and I have a degrees in cognitive psych and neurobiology so I have a pretty good idea of exactly how to take care of myself. Unfortunately this Lupron is throwing me for a loop. My team of Psychiatrists are working together with my gynecologist to make things go as smoothly as possibly for me. I feel like everyone is just watching and waiting to see what happens to me, like they aren't sure what to expect and that doesn't really fly well with me. I cannot afford to become mentally unstable as bad as my pain is...nothing is worse than loosing your mind I was wondering what side effects any of you ladies had with Lupron besides the hot flashes and sleeping difficulty? If anyone has used Lupron while being treated for a psychiatric illness?? And if so what were your results? Sorry I babbled. Thank you for listening.

Wishing you pain free days =)
