Re: Lupron?From: Emily (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Apr 24 13:59:50 2008
Thank you for your responses! It helps to have personal accounts as responses to my question instead of websites where you don't know who's funding them. I have looked at LupronExposed.com and several other sites that have raised concerns. honestly, just reading the packet my doctor gave me on the drug was enough for me to think it's not for me. i have done research on endo treatment for a while, and i found the Women's Surgery Center of Chatanooga (i live in Nashville, so it's close) at http://www.gyndr.com/about.php. They're philosophy is that proper endo treatment is complete laparoscopic removal of endo implants. It seems like that would be a more permanent and less risky choice for me. Does anyone have any experience with a center like that? also, the doctors there offer a free service where you can send them your medical records and they will write you with their recommendation. hope that's helpful for some of ya'll. thanks again for offering me your perspectives!!!
