Previous message: mikesmyman: "Re: leg pain - endo?" The summer of 2007 I started having chronic pelvic pain and burning pain. I was having my period every other week. In Dec. of 07 I had lap. surgery and found out I had endo. After surgery I went on birth control pills. I was still having my period every other week and started having chronic pelvic pain again. I then started Lupron Depot shot in Feb. 08. Today I had my third injection and I'm suppose to have 3 more. Since I've been on the shots I have had constant bleeding and still in some pain (not like I was before). I am also taking norethindrone. I'm just wondering if anyone has been on the Lupron shots and had their period the whole time they were on it. I'm very frustrated and hope someone can give me some advice. My doctor said there is nothing to do stop my constant period, he said the medicine is doing it's job. I guess my thought is that Lupron is suppose to take your periods away while you are on it not keep them going constantly. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
