Hi everyone, I had my laparoscopy in Feb during which the Dr. removed endo and fibroids. When I asked about my 20% co-pay, they thought it would be about $1700. I just got my surgery bill and it is nearly $29,000! This seems far above what the normal cost for a laparoscopy is. My question is, for those of you who have had this surgery, I was billed for three different laparocopy's, I think for the three things elements of the surgery -- Lysis, Lesions and Laparoscopic myomectomy. Each totals around $6000. If you've had this surgery, does the way I was billed sound normal? I would like to get some opinions before I inquire at the billing office on Monday. Thanks!
