Hi Wendi, I'm 40 years old and just diagnosed last month and undergone
my first laporoscopy surgery. My symptoms before the surgery was very
manageable with just 1 NSAID per month and because I've had polyp and
had to do a hysteroscopy and contemplating pregnancy, the doctor
suggested doing also a laporoscopy to find out if I have endometriosis.
I had mild to moderate and he took out whatever he could find. Since my
symptoms weren't bad, I really had to think long and hard if laporoscopy
was necessary but because of my age, the doctors suggested getting it
done all at once. Doctor says it depends on the person how soon it will
come back but he did say for sure that it will come back. I'm hoping
that the pain will not come back worse. I'm glad to hear that the worst
of your endo symptoms hasn't returned and I pray that it will never.
