Thanks for the well wishes. I spoke to my Ob-Gyn over the phone this
afternoon, and she advised me to show my G.I. doctor right before my
colonoscopy. Without being able to see it, my Ob-Gyn believes it is
probably a Lipoma, which is a fatty cyst that moves under your skin. I
looked up Lipoma, and my lump sounds like a textbook example. I will of
course be sure my G.I. doctor sees it first thing Wednesday morning,
before the colonoscopy, but I feel a lot better knowing that my Ob-Gyn
doesn't seem to think it is anything serious. The last thing I need
right now is more anxiety. =/
