Is this common? The doctor seemed confident that it would stop my cycle and thus, stop my pain. If it does stop my cycle, how is it that my uterus is still getting larger and more painful as if my cycle were continuing as usual? It has been 3 weeks since the shot, which occurred on the first day of my cycle. It made me terribly sick and I will not continue this treatment, but I was hopeful that it would provide some relief.
