Re: Lupron shot!

All I can say is that I presonally did not want to go on lupron because
of all the horrible stories that I have heard such as bone density loss,
lupron induced lupus, memory loss and so on. I am currently going to an
endometriosis specialist and any endo specialist will NOT recommend
lupron, once they recommend it then they are not considered an endo
specialist and cannot hold that title. Its is usually only recommend by
regular obgyn or RE as they do not know the proper way to treat it and
they get kick backs from perscribing lupron. The manufactures of
luprons were sued for 2 billon dollors last year for the largest illegal
kickbacks. Basically if a doctor perscribes something they get
something for free for perscribing it. The only ways to properyly treat
endo is through excision surgery different from a regular lap with
laser. Laser does not remove all the endo and causes scar tissue to
form making the endo worse, which is why people who have a lap with
laser have to repeat the surgery so often. I would recommend switching
drs. You are so young and I would hate for you to continue down this
path for the rest of your life. Lupron can have lasting effects that
can really damage your body. Do research on Lupron. Its not even
approved by the FDA for endometriosis and the manufatures have stated
that its not for the treatment of endo. It stops the pain while you are
on it then as soon as you are off it the pain comes back. And like the
other women said if used the company does not recommend more than 1
6month teatment. Please do research you are so young ang get a bone
density scan ASAP.
