Hello! I am excited to write my first message on this forum. I have read many insightful messages since I first was diagnosed with endometriosis back when I was 15. Since I am now 19 I can finally say I have the courage to write a message (laughing). It is definitely hard having the problem at such a young age and not have people relate to you. My history: I have had one ovary removed, and two laporascopies. My last one was about 9 months ago. I have been on the Lupron shot 3 different times in 6 months spans ( 1 shot every month for 6 months). I have been on Danazol, and almost every other birth control pill it seems. But most of us have right! But my main concern right now is trying to stay pain free and keeping my ovary healthy. I wanted to know if anyone had found a good birth control pill that was able to prevent pelvic pain? It seems that I can only stay on a certain birth control pill for about 6-8 months and then my body because immune to it and it no longer works. And my doctor ends up putting my on another dose of Lupron for 6 months. I have been repeating this for the last 3 years and its going on a 4th year. I went to the doctor today because I have been having pain and bleeding for about a month on my birth control pill that I take continuously. He wants me to go back on the Lupron shot next week. This will be the fourth time. . . If you know of any alternative methods or good birth control pills or just some really good advise I will really appreciate it!
