Re: High testosterone in hormone test

I am seeing a reproductive endocrinologist, that is who did my hormone test to find my high levels of testerone (not super high as I mentioned in my original post). I have found that ob/gyn doctors have been pretty much useless for me, that is why I went to a RE, so I could start to get answers!

I gave up on getting answers from ob/gyns 3 years ago when I had a heavy 3 week long period, my hair was falling out, my breasts shrunk down and my pain was unbearable, I lost about 5-10 lbs. in a week and the only advice I received from my ob/gyn at the time was to go to the emergency room if I thought that I was losing too much blood!

This RE is finally trying to piece together why things like this happen to me, but my next appointment isn't for a week and a half, so in the meantime I am trying to read about reasons for high testerone in women.
