Re: endo and headaches

Mel, I suffered horrible migranes with my period cycles, the migrane would start about 7-10 days before my actual period. I once had a migrane for 5 days, it was hell, I thought my head was going to explode! I took Imitrex and it worked for me. It doesn't work for everyone, maybe you need to ask for a different medication? My sister has to give herself shots for migranes (hers are related to endo/periods also). I still get migranes occasionally, but not as often or severe as before I had a hysterectomy. I used to get dizzy also, lightheaded, like I was going to pass out. If your dr won't give you a different med, maybe try another dr? I'm not saying dr shop, but any reasonable dr would know that not everything works for everybody- everybody is different. I hope you find relief soon. Cohl
