Re: endo and headachesFrom: Anna (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Mar 24 15:53:07 2008
Mel- I have experienced headaches all of my life and migraines since I was in middle school. I too noticed that they decreased once I went off of birth control, but they did not completely subside. A great book, "Heal Your Headache" by David Buchholz was recommended to me. He does a wonderful job of helping the reader understand migraines a little better. The migraine diet is included in the book. It is a bit overwhelming to try to cut everything out at once, but getting rid of a couple foods at a time for a couple weeks is doable. Since then, I have cut out onions and bananas, which has helped a great deal. I still experience migraines, but they are no where near what they used to be. Also, the dizziness that you mentioned is a form of migraine. Sometimes people will have dizzy episodes instead of the headache. Good luck. You are not alone. Anna
