I'm sorry your in such a tough situation. I guess the first thing I want to say is that your health comes 1st! Could work out a paymeny plan with the dr or hosptal? Maybe they would be will to give you a discount or some kind of help. Another question is..is this dr in NYC a qualified endo specialist? It would be ashame to go ahead with another surgery to have some endo missed and the same issues. Also, could you get a grant or financial assistance for school? Maybe you could accept some help from your mom and make arrangements to pay her back. I have endo of course, but also some other health issues. I WAS AT MY WITS END and so I decided to see a naturopathic dr. IT WAS A GREAT DECISION!!!!! She was able to diagnose me with Celiac disease which explained the stomach issues. I am on a strict diet and I'm taking vitamins, supplements, etc. My endo and all is better. I feel fantastic. I'm able to go the gym and I've lost weight without really doing anmything. Maybe if you can you may want to seek a naturopathic dr or alternative treatments. Building the immune system is key. I'm sorry again for your situation. I can relate and ill keep you in my prayers!
