endo and weight problemsFrom: Jen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Mar 13 04:26:11 2008
I'm just wondering if any one else out there gained wieght with their endo treatment? i was synarel and gained about 15kgs (1 and a half stone). i'm really down about it. During my treatment, when I realised I was putting on weight, I tried different things to lose it. I couldn't shift it so then I tried to focus on not putting anymore on. Couldn't even manage that, I just kept ballooning no matter what I tried. Now that I've finished the treatment I'm going to go back to Weight Watchers, as I've done this a few years ago and I was successful. My question is this though. I was speaking to a girl today who gained weight when changing the pill. She spoke to her doctor about it and said she was going to try lose tghe weight. The doctor told her that she can whatever she likes but the weight will not shift until those particular hormones are out of her body completely, about 6-12 months. Does anyone have any experience with this, and do they now if it applies to the weight gain from endo as well. ANY advice would be greatly appreciated.
