I was diagnosed with endo when I was 26 and am now 28. I had two laps
within 6 months of eachother. My husband and I finally decided to see a
fertility specialist when the pain returned to such a state that I could
barely function, and the docs were telling me surgery AGAIN.
The fertility specialist has put me on a number of vitamins, and has
asked me to consider danzanol. In the meantime my pain has almost
VANISHED due to taking magnesium supplements. The thought is that women
with a history of migraines and pelvic pain sometimes have a defficiency
in magnesium.
I don't know if you have headaches, or if it will work for you. All I
know is that I take ultra-Cal Night (one in the am, 2 in the pm WITH
FOOD), and my pain is SSSOOO much better. I am no longer taking pain
meds like candy. In fact, I only needed pain meds for ONE day my whole
last cycle.
Long periods are not normal, and I was just told it's not normal to stop
then spot a day or two later. I would see a specialist, if I were you.
