Re: Add Back Therapy - has anyone used thisFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netThu Feb 28 19:45:49 2008
I would not recommend Lupron, no matter if you do the add back therapy. Lupron only temporarly stops the pain, then it comes back sortly after you stop. TAP pharmacies the manufacters of Lupron state that its not a cure and does not help with infertility, that pain will come back after the medicine is stopped. There is also a reason why they don't recommend doing it for more than 6 months. There are tons of side effects and in my opinion are not worth the few months pain free, since it can do permanent damage to your body and in the end you could be worse than when you started. Any top endometriosis specialist will not recommend lupron, they recommend excision. The only way to remove endometriosis is through excision. One they recommend Lurpon, then they are not considered an endometriosis specialist. Excision does not cure endometriosis, just the best treatment out there with the least rate of reoccurance. > >Hello, > >I have posted on here in the past and I am after some more advice >please.
