Most top specialists will try everything before they remove any organs. There is a difference between having your ovaries taken out by a obgyn or a top endometriosis specialist. If they take them out and do not excise all the endo then its pretty much pointless, since the endo will contiune to grow. Think of cancer if it has spread to alot of organs simply removing one won't help the problem. It will continue to grow in most case. So many women get a hysterectomy and are still in so much pain, because the surgery was not done properly. Be carefull who you go to. Endo-resolved.com lists the top specialists. I would have a consulation with one of them first or at least talk to them on the phone, so you have all your options before you make this important decision. Once it's done there is no turning back, be careful.
