Yes, everyone should try to preserve the ovaries if possible. But, even the top specialist have removed ovaries and the uterus. Yes, do research, and make a decision on what is best for YOU!! There is no right or wrong, as endo is so different in each woman and there is no cure. Just because Debbie has had her own ovary reconstructed twice does not mean that is what is right. The best way to prepare is to research and feel confident in your decision. Then stay positive, eat healthy and exercise as much as your pain allows. Good luck in your decisions! ( I still have my ovaries but no longer have my uterus. )
