my ob/gyn says anytime you have abnormal bleeding mid-cycle, it is something that should be checked. You might have a ruptured cyst - sounds like it. I get these all the time. You feel dizzy, nauseous, off-balance, headache, and definitely not right. Lasts for a few days, and then goes away. I would see about getting it checked ASAP. if your doctor wont see you, find another one. The fact that they don't even call you back says something - dont you think? Often times, I beleive it is because they can't help.

Do you mind me asking how old you are? You could be peri-menopausal. I have been getting lots of these symptoms lately - hot flashes, dizzy spells, sweating, headaches, etc. I have been told this is common for some women entering menopause along with mid-cycle bleeding/spotting. Hope this helps.

I know firsthand what you are going through - and I empathize with your situation. Hang in there
