If you don't feel comfortable with this doctor or his attiude, ask for a new one. If he isn't able to actually communicate and listen to you, it will likely only get worse as time goes on.

A chiropractor might be able to help if any of the pain you have goes into your lower back - otherwise, you are right. Good chiropractors about the mechanics of the spine and joints and will help you with any problems you have with those but there are some chiropractors that think they can cure everything that's wrong with your body by straigtening you back. Stay away from those ones!

Life is too short to spend it arguing with arrogant doctors. Find another one who is open to listening, answers questions and views you as an equal partner in healing rather than a commando barking out orders.

Good Luck!
