i have had the excision sugery twice, i am still pain years later and i now have chronic adhesions on top of my endo pain, i self catherize and have bowel obstructions twice a yr,please research all options because sometimes with chronic pain we will try anything i did and it is worse.best of luck to you,and may you be pain free
