Well, it is a long story over about a 2 year period made with baby steps. I can try and sum it up but it is better talked over the phone or in person.

I switched from my normal brand of vitamins and I started taking whole food nutritionals, which then I started craving raw veggies, and my allergies and asthma went away so I decided to go off of birth control and didn't have any pain. I couldn't even tell when my period was going to start and that was grrreat! I turned to a wide variety of organic foods that I never knew existed, made a smoothie every morning with a variety of different superfoods from the health food stores. I also got rid of the toxic chemical cleaners in my home since they seemed to make me sick every time I used them and I tried to stay away from eating out and I avoided sugar and any refined fiber foods. Only whole grains for me, no bread unless it's Ezekeal or sprouted bread. No crackers, no ice cream, maybe a swiss water decaf espresso and an occasional dessert but organic as much as possible. I started getting massage, craniosacral, & shiatsu on a regular basis and did some yoga along with that, aahh, breath. :) Now my baby is almost 2 so it has been about 4 years total since all of the changes. I have noticed that if I go off my diet and start eating toxic foods, restaurant foods, or refined foods too much, I don't feel as hot as I should and I feel a little bloated, which could be candida, yeast fighting to take over, or whatever. Hope this helps. I am going to be doing an herbal and whole food cleanse in the spring and I am really excited about it. That is another thing that I did and it feels so great. Some people have mentioned that organic is expensive or that whole food nutritionals can be pricey, or that massage is even expensive but I feel that my lifestyle choices now may be a little more expensive but in the long run are much cheaper and totally worth it cuz now I have a family and it was totally natural pregnancy & birth! :)
