pregnancy and endoFrom: asha25 (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jan 31 10:35:41 2008
Hey everyone, I am new here and have a question about endo and pregnancy since I seem to get conflicting view points everywhere, it's very confusing. I just found out from my obgyn that I have mild endo (although it feels pretty painful to me!!) Anyway, my fiance and I want to have kids one day but we were thinking in a few year 3+. When I asked my gyn about how endo will affect fertility she said not to really worry about and just have kids when I want to. But then I have read from many sources that say that endo can progress and make fertility much harder the longer you wait or may have to undergo surgeries, ect. I am 25 now and in a pretty good place to have kids, but I would like to finish grad school, have a couple years to work, ect. I know ultimately the decision is for my fiance and I to make, but I am looking for some insights, and if endo can really progress, and if anyone else has been at the same place I am? Thanks!! Asha
