Experiences with the CEC in AtlantaFrom: Sherri (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Jan 30 18:48:26 2008
Hi all! I'm looking to hear about others' experiences (good and bad) with the Center for Endometriosis Care in Atlanta. I have looked at their website a few times, and am thinking about sending them copies of my medical records and previous surgeries. I was dx with endo and IC about 14 years ago, and I have had numerous surgeries to remove endo and adhesions, the most recent being a total abdominal hysterectomy in 2004. Everything (ovaries, tubes, cervix, etc.) was removed at that time, and I truly believed that would be the end of the pain from endo. Of course, it was not, and now I am totally confused about what my options are. The CEC and Dr. Albee and Sinervo sound really good...too good to be true, even. I have only met approximately 2 women that had excision surgery there, and they both had great things to say about it, one that continues to be pain-free and the other lady said that her pain began to come back about 8-9 months after her surgery. So, if anyone is willing to share their story with me, I would really appreciate it. You can e-mail me personally if you'd like. My e-mail address is sherriann77@bellsouth.net. Thanks in advance!
