I am 30 years old and have been dealing with endometriosis with intense pelvic pain for over a year. I have always had intense periods and was started on birth control and nsaids early. I could take 800 motrin and deal with the pain after the first day or two. Then Jan 2007 I went off all birth control to try for a second child, and BAM!! I can't fully describe the pain I was having. I had a lap done and endometriosis was discovered, we didn't do anything else because i was going to try having another baby, but geezz when you are in that much pain who wants to be intimate. Next I was put on vicodin, and had the Lupron shots, I had maybe two months relief out of that and mood swings, hot flashes etc.. I really did not like the Lupron! I was put back on birth control pills and have bled for 3 weeks out of the month. I have just tried the depo shot and I have finally stopped bleeding for a week! we will see if that last. My questions are:

1-Is there any affect that vicodin and percocet can have on your heart or liver after a over a year of constant use?

2-Has anyone else had endo pain even when you are not bleeding?

3-My doc is talking about doing the LUNA nerve resection or alabation , has anyone had this if so what is your experience?
