Reply: Amy: "Re: Depot-lupron - bleeding in the beginning normal?" HI! I have endometriosis, and I started my first round of Depot-lupron on the 14th of January. I also have a Mirena IUD in place. I started my period on the 11th - the Friday night before starting the Lupron, and have not stopped bleeding since... could this be because of the LUPRON-DEPOT? I was thinking because of that initial "surge" you can get with the lupron this could hve been why I have had the extra long bleeding - but in the meantime, it has been quite uncomfortable. Thanks for any replies. This is my first time with the LUPRON and I am hoping it will help my quality of life a lot as the pelvic pain has been horrible since I have been diagnosed in October.
