Julie,

Yes, that pain is common. My lower back would ache so bad, that it felt like my tailbone was trying to pop through my skin. My MRI showed that my uterus was attached to my large intestine by an endo adhesion, that looked like a big, chewed piece of gum! That's what was causing it! I just had a total hyst last Wed and that pain is now gone, along with my ovary pain. I can not believe I had that inside me all these years and if a doctor would have ordered an MRI sooner, they would have seen it.

Instead, they said the only way to diagnose me was thru a lap surgery, which was not the case! They also accused me of lying, trying to get pain pills....boy, I want to take a copy of the MRI to past doctors and say "look, this is what you made me suffer with!!!"

Julie, make sure you go to an endo excision specialist to take care of this - regular ob's NEVER get all the endo out and sometimes can makes things worse for us.

And Lupron will not help either and is very dangerous - many bad side effects that are not necessary to beat this disease! I'm glad my first surgery was with a top specialist, with the DaVinci robot (the newest tech for laps) and I opted for hyst to get it all. So far, I feel better than I have in years. :) What state do you live in? There is a list of specialists the women on here could give you. Hope you can find some help soon.
