I did great on Lupron for 15 months... Loved it! But, yes, as soon as you go off of it the pain starts coming back. It's your body producing estrogen again. I think maybe your body finally realized it hadn't been producing it for so long that it kinda goes into hormone overdrive or something! But like I said I loved it while I was on it... felt great and I didn't have any lasting side effects like others. We are all different. Not one answer will work for everyone, unfortunately! I had friend tell me today that uterine ablation worked really well for her. She hasn't had a period in 3 years and loves it. But, I don't want to do that for myself. I'm having the full hysterectomy LAVH/BSO with no add back hormones on Feb 6th and I couldn't be more excited!! :)
