Re: Question!

I'm not sure if it's "normal" to have that much pain after a lap, but I DID! I didn't have an infection, but I was in a lot of pain for about 2 1/2 weeks after my lap. I was taking 2 7.5 mg percocet avery 4 hours, and 4 200 mg ibuprofen every 6 hours for at least 2 weeks. I actually did go to the ER after the first week b/c I didn't think it should still hurt that bad, but the ER doc said it was possible to have that much pain, especially depending on what all they did in there. I actually took my pain meds up to 6 weeks later, but only when I overdid it physically. What did your doc say about the infection? Could that be causing extra pain?
