Hi

Adenomyosis is actully endo in the wall of your Uterus, inside not outside but in the lining of the wall. This is usually very hard to diagnose and treat. If the adeno is isolated in one area it can be removed but in many cases it is scattered throughout the Uterus and that is why a hyterectomy is usually the treatment. I had adeno it was in one area of my Uterus and it was removed and I feel fine. I am 34 and want another child. The symptoms were severe pain around your cycle or in my case it was almost everyday inlarged Uterus which shows up on an ultrasound and heavy heavy bleeding during your period. I would find an endo specialist to help you esp if you want children in the future. good luck Michele
