I was diagnosed with Masters/Allen syndrome in 1987 and after having surgical repair all my painful problems I had experienced for years and years disappeared. I think I remember it has something to do with how the broad ligament supports the uterus. My uterus was twisted and almost upside down because of a tear/twist in the broad ligament that is supposed to support the uterus. I went to medical library after being diagnosed with it. As I remember it hasn't anything to do with endometrious. As I remember the journal articles all said that it is an much underdiagnosed condition and that women who have surgically repair often comment how that they feel much better immediately after surgery. I know I did.
