Birth control pills, generic not working like brand name? anyone else?

Hello,

I have been taking Seasonale for years and it really helps as long as I don't miss a single dose. Several months ago a generic was finally made. I was happy about this because it was much cheaper. However, since then it seems like my symptoms are not as well controlled. Like my breasts are so SORE I can barely touch them or wear my bra. This has happened when I started new birth control pills or if I have missed one, but never for so long! I am also having more cramps breaking through. Has anyone else noticed differences between brand names and generics? I have always been a fan of generics, but then I never had problems with them either! I don't know if I can get brand name if the generic is now available.

Otherwise, it means yet another helpful BCP has stopped working and have to try to find another....

Any stories or advice would be appreciated. I am tempted to stop them but then think of the consequences when the time comes...
